Book sounds great. Family breaking apart in our homes too. I had a granddaughter he shut me off from her world and new baby. Prayers is what got her home. I can now see my great grandsons.
I like to look for in a fiction book is how you can relate to the characters and how it makes you feel like you are there with them. Molding into the story that makes you want to learn more about the characters and the story that is being told.

I enjoy most inpsirational fiction, especially Amish, small town, second chance romance, historical (WWII era), lots.
I like to read Amish fiction because the books do show how Amish Family have strong Faith and Family values. They work Hard and Raise their Children to Obey and to learn Household chores, Farm chores. they still can have Fun with games and learning essential skills to get them through life. We have many Amish neighbors near us and on my road..

My husband was a truck driver for a major company and took calcium chloride to some of the Amish farmers in Lancaster! After the first time, the farmer always ask the manager to send my husband! One winter his truck got stuck in the snow next to a barn! He asked the farmer to suggest a wrecker to pull him out! The farmer got his Clydesdale horses and pulled the truck out! Just wished my husband had a camera then! Also, he has eaten lunch with the Amish family while there! After he died, my son who also worked there took over this duty, which was a pleasure for both of them! I love reading about the Amish!

The Amish genre is one of very favorites to read. I love just about any time of clean read except sci-fi. I like the way the Amish stories instill values and some of the true meanings of how we should act – towards ourselves and others. To solve a mystery, have a second chance, or just to give great meaning to story always adds to my interest in reading it.

I like a variety of CF genres, but I appreciate a strong faith thread. Second chance romance is my favorite trope. I enjoy a happy ending, but I do prefer the storyline to be realistic.
